  • Theresa Yurkewich Hofmann

    Theresa Yurkewich Hoffmann is the Head of Responsible AI at Kainos, where she guides global organisations through the complexities of emerging technologies, drawing on her unique blend of expertise in public policy, law, and technology. Prior to joining Kainos, she was an AI Technical Specialist at Microsoft, focusing on regulation, sustainability, and Responsible AI. Her career also includes roles at organisations such as the City of London Corporation, Global Rights Compliance, and external advisory work with the OECD.
    Theresa holds a JD in Law and a BA, and has completed innovation-focused programmes at both Cambridge and Oxford. Her multidisciplinary background enables her to bridge the gap between legal frameworks and technological innovation.
    A recognized thought leader in the field, Theresa has spoken at major industry events including the Innovation Forum, Reset Connect London, Envision, and the Legal Business AI Summit. In 2023, she was named a Rising Star in Technology by WeAreTheCity for her contributions at the intersection of AI, regulation, and sustainability.

    Her career highlights include:
    City of London Corporation: Spearheaded initiatives such as the digital sandbox and lawtech programmes.
    OECD: Contributed to digital governance modernisation, integrating legal insight with tech innovation.

    Originally from Canada, Theresa has lived in The Hague and now resides in London, where she is a UK citizen. She brings a global perspective to her work and is fluent in both English and French.

  • Oyetola Florence Idowu

    A dynamic digital transformation Tech leader, Global AI Delegate for the United Kingdom with Gafai and an advocate for responsible AI, ethics and sustainability in Tech with over 13 years of experience driving digital transformation across healthcare, government, public, private, and consulting sectors.


    I currently work with the NHS, where I lead cross-functional teams to deliver innovative digital products and process re-engineering initiatives using Agile (Scrum), Waterfall, and Lean methodologies. My expertise spans Digital Product Delivery, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Process Improvement, and Responsible AI. An award-winning researcher and co-author in AI Automation Framework, sustainability, Embedding ethics into AI collaboration, and healthcare technology.


    I am a mentor and an Early Career Advocate with the British Computer Society (BCS), showcasing my passion for empowering the next generation of tech professionals. I also mentor young professionals with the Association for black and minority Engineers (AFBE)UK, and MSc Big Data Analytics students at the University of Derby during the MSc enrichment week, guiding and empowering the next generation of tech professionals.


    I am an active member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET), a Professional member of the British Computer Society (BCS), a Corporate member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE), Registered Engineer with council of Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and the Internet Society UK, cementing my reputation as a respected leader in the global tech ecosystem.

  • Sabrina Steele

    I am passionate about navigating and influencing digital policy as I think it offers an interesting mix of existing and new policies. For example, I enjoy how it offers the opportunity to build evidence and create novel solutions or apply existing legislation/regulations where they work in a similar sector.

    I currently work as a senior associate at Inline Policy, providing policy and regulatory analysis and political strategy for innovative tech businesses across the tech sector. I previously worked at the ICO where I led on data protection and generative AI, engaging with and influencing some of the largest tech firms. Prior to this, I worked at DSIT on various digital related policy areas including the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumer Bill.

  • Nathaly Espitia Diaz

    Community communicator and journalist dedicated to working with grassroots communities. My passion lies in listening to others, learning through active participation, and leading with a focus on building trusted relationships and fostering collective care. I am also the co -creator of one of the first communication and resource projects centered on digital security for Indigenous and Black/Afro communities in LAC called Convite https://noisradio.co/convite

    I enjoy building regional networks with an intersectional approach, where journalists and Digital Rights defenders connect with artists. I collaborate with community communicators, journalists, and social and environmental leaders across Latin America and the Caribbean.

    As a co-founder of Nois Radio, a communication collective, I am deeply interested in exploring sound universes and creating engaging radio and podcast experiences. We produce radio programs that blend soundscapes with voices, music, live sounds, and performative actions. Together with different members of grassroots communities we create communication projects to strengthen community well-being and promote social and climate justice. Her work intersects technology, communication, culture, environment, and social change. Before joining The Engine Room, she served as a program officer for the Americas at Internews.

  • Kemi Adeyanju

    Strategic leader with expertise in legal, public policy, and regulatory compliance, specialising in digital infrastructure (Subsea Cable, Data Center, Space and AI) across EMEA, North America, Asia and Australia. Experienced in managing complex projects, negotiating contracts, and leading diverse teams to secure regulatory approvals. Proven ability to develop and implement strategic partnerships and policies in challenging environments.

    My work bridges the public and private sectors—guiding connectivity projects involving submarine, terrestrial fibre, Satellite, and advocating for regulatory reforms that accelerate digital inclusion.
    I’ve led cross-border compliance efforts, advised on government engagement strategies for emerging tech platforms, and partnered with telecom ministries to align infrastructure projects with national broadband plans. My interests lie at the intersection of technology, governance, and ESG.

    Whether navigating licensing frameworks, supporting blockchain regulatory pilots, or drafting policy briefs on spectrum allocation, space debris or AI, I bring a strategic, evidence-based approach to policy challenges.

  • Christine Quigley

    With more than fifteen years of experience spanning consultancy, in-house roles, and party politics, Christine is a specialist in integrated corporate affairs, public policy, and government relations. She has worked with leading organizations in transport and mobility, energy and sustainability, manufacturing and agri-food, and technology in the UK and internationally, providing strategic counsel and on-the-ground support to help businesses achieve their public policy objectives.

    Before joining Crestview, Christine worked in an agency, leading major integrated public affairs and corporate communications campaigns for clients across a variety of sectors. She also has experience working in-house in the UK rail industry and served as a political adviser to the UK Labour Party.

    Christine is a former chair of the CIPR’s Public Affairs Committee and a board member of Women in Public Affairs. She was shortlisted for Consultant of the Year at the 2020 PRCA Public Affairs Awards. In 2021, she was one of only three public affairs professionals included in the Women in Westminster: The 100 list of influential women in public life. She holds an MA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Oxford and an MSc in European Public Policy from Birkbeck, University of London.
