Magali Van Bulck
Magali Van Bulck is the Head of Policy & Government Relations (EMEA) at Wise and the founder of Accept My IBAN, a platform to report IBAN discrimination which has successfully put this consumer protection issue on the political agenda.
She sits various fintech and payments advisory committees and is part of the board of the International Association of Money Transfer Networks, Fintech Belgium and PayBelgium. In her role at Wise, she has been heavily focused on improving transparency in financial services, lowering the cost of remittances and providing a pathway for non-banks to join the financial infrastructure. Maeve Walsh
Maeve Walsh is an experienced policymaker and government relations consultant who has worked in the UK Government and not-for-profit sector. She is currently the Director of the Online Safety Act Network, which keeps advocates, researchers and campaigners informed and connected during the OSA’s implementation, and was a Carnegie UK Trust Associate for five years, working on their online harm reduction project and the development of the “duty of care” approach which influenced the development of the Online Safety Act 2023.
During a 17-year career in Whitehall, Maeve held senior roles in central Departments including Cabinet Office, No10, the Department of Health and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, where she led the team responsible for delivering the UK Digital Strategy. Since then, she has worked as a consultant with a variety of organisations on digital and data policy. She is a Trustee at the Connection at St-Martins-in-the-Field, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and has served as a parent governor at her children’s primary school.

Lucie is a senior strategist and negotiator, specialising in connecting IP and innovation, copyright and digital music rights affairs. Lucie also leads government policy for the UK’s entertainment retail sector, representing music, video and games.
Lucie started her music career at iconic, independent music publishers, later spending time focusing on song rights and innovation licensing, going on to bring a range of music services and rights holders into agreement, including for Deezer, Sony/SYCO, Sandbox Game, Singa and Bandcamp.
Representing at sector level, Lucie is the former CEO of the UK’s performing artist organisation, the FAC, Chief Policy, Rights and Public Affairs Officer for the Music Publishers Association and, is currently Chief Innovation and Government Affairs Officer for the UK’s entertainment retail body, ERA.

Maddy Steggall is a policy and communications professional with experience spanning government, strategic consultancy, and financial services. She is currently Policy Adviser to Kanishka Narayan MP, leading work on AI, startups, and digital economy policy. Her role includes developing initiatives such as the All Hands on Tech campaign and supporting parliamentary and industry engagement on tech and innovation.
Previously, Maddy worked in strategic communications at Teneo and FTI Consulting, advising clients in technology, financial services, luxury fashion, and climate policy on corporate reputation, public affairs, and media strategy. Earlier in her career, she worked at Société Générale in Paris, supporting corporate communications and translation for the investment bank.

Currently, I work as a consultant at McKinsey and Company. I am also a member of the Board of Directors at the Center for AI and Digital Policy (CAIDP), where I provide strategic vision and direction, write policy recommendations, and consult various stakeholders on responsible AI. I have been involved with CAIDP in various capacities such as Senior AI Policy Advisor, Research and Teaching Fellow, where I advised on matters of AI and related policy as well as helped with CAIDP’s expansion projects.
